This makes the color extremely colorfast and fade-resistant. I have rinsed each skein thoroughly by hand, but despite that, a little bleeding can occur at the first wash, as it is with all hand-dyed yarn. If you are experiencing major issues with any yarn please let me know. Due to the handdyeing process and the speckling no skein is exactly like the other. I dye yarn in small batches. Although I use the same dye colors, formulas and techniques for each batch, shades and color placement will vary from skein to skein. If your project requires more than one skein of the same colorway, I recommend alternating skeins row by row to ensure the best results.
