Shrinkage 2±%: 12.5% at ∆5 Sea Mix 5 is a mid-range stoneware clay body. This premium cream-white throwing clay has a smooth, porcelain texture, and is simple and fun to throw and sculpt. We get excellent results with most mid-range glazes. Fires to a gray/white color in reduction and lighter in oxidation. Ideal for throwing, handbuilding, jiggering, pressing, and dinnerware. Also offered with sand, grog, and paper. The fine grog we use in Sea Mix 5 with Sand provides a smoother fired texture and less speckling. 25 lb. block.
